Catch 22 life

It seemes everything you do in like is a catch 22, or somekind of "law". Today it was about Landon.
When Landon went for his 4 year check up in July his ped. told me she could not understand anything he was saying. I can understand most of it, but no one else really understands most of what he is saying. So the 1st step with that is to set up a hearing screen. He passed that at the peds office a few days later. We were then sent to the ENT because he has had problems with his ears. Our ENT is great, she retested his ears twice and both times passed he has great hearing (you would never be able to tell this though lol). Our ENT said he did have a speech delay though so that is when he was being set up with speech. I do not WANT my child to have a hearing problem, but if he had a very very small one he would already be getting speech at this point. So the like I had said USA has a long waiting list, so I called the special education office yesterday and she was not there. She called me back today and gave me another phone number to the lady that sets you up with the school, but when I called her she then gave me another number to the lady that does the screenings. I called her and left a message, I did not hear back from her today. I do not know how delayed they have to be to get into this program, but I am pretty sure its pretty far behind. So again I know I do not want him to be so far behind that he needs to be in the school system to get help, BUT I do want him in speech.
Things should be easier when it comes to your kids.
