Another good appointment

Out ENT appoinment went great. We have to go back every 6 months for 2 years as long as the tubes have not fallen out, if they fall out before next winter he'll 99% need another set in december.
We went back to the doctor yesterday, I thought Landon might have pink eye, because his eye was all red, but it's not, he has really bad allergies, he is on an allergy med. 2 times a day, now he has to have allergy eye drops too. Just another bump in our road!!
I went to the march of babies kick off party today, Help me give all babies their 40 weeks!!

Back to the ENT

I take Landon back to the ENT in the morning. It is just a check up for his ear tubes. I am not sure how many times we go back, if it is like the GI where we go every few weeks at first and then like now it's every few months, or if we won't have to go back unless there is a problem, I hope visits to the ENT are few and far between. Don't get me wrong she is a great doctor, but a doctor none the less, I want to phase out all the doctors Landon sees except our regular Ped. That is when we well, be like other moms and Babies. That is what I am hoping for, I have thought about this for a wile, when will I be a mom of 3 boys and 1 girl when will I become a mom of a boy scout, a mom of blond boys, a mom of a green eyed girl, a mom of anything other than a preemie, I have came up with all by my self that we will be like every other family when we don't have to see so many doctors all, the time and maybe when we are not on any meds that he take eveyday, that might be the day we become normal, I don't know I am hoping one day, when I am around other moms and they are talking about all their kids do, I will think to my self, but no say out loud that my kids were preemies, I want to never think about it, but I am sure it will always be in my head, how could it not. I love my babies and I would not change how they came into the world. The way they got here made them who they are now and made me who I am too. I just want to be normal, and have normal kids with normal everyday lives, no drama and no weekly doctors appointments!

A Real Wel Baby Check Up

That is what we had on Wed. I Have never had a smoother appointment with Landon before. Dr.McNair, said he is doing great and the only thing we need to work on with him is naming Body Parts, like eyes and nose and mouth, he don't want to do any of that but I am going to try harder, That is the only 18 month skill he is not doing, and he is only 19 months old and he was 9 weeks early so with all that he is just right. He weighed in at 23.8 pounds and is 31 inches long. All of that is good. He got 2 shots and handled those like any one year old would have. He doesn't have to go back until he is 2, Yes I said 2 I don't even want to think about him turning 2.
Oh and his ear tubes looked good and no drainning, she even said I made the right choice taking him on my own, when I told her his ears looked untreated when we saw the ENT!!

Busy, Busy

Wow this has been a long week, Mardi Gras week and the weekend leading up to it is always so busy. With all of the Parades and balls, Saturday and Sunday being Joe Cain Day, Then Luna Monday, and Fat Tuesday. Jason normally goes with me on Fat Tuesday this year he had to work and wasn’t able to go, now I weighed back and forth on taking all the kids by myself, and had decided we would skip it this year when my sister April and my mom decided we should go and take the kids with us, I choose to go and it went rather good for a few hours but by lunch time things were starting to fall apart and by 2pm we were packed up and heading out. We were home and taking naps by 3, that was strange because we never get home on Fat Tuesday before dark, we had fun though, and I got some good pictures of the kids playing together.

School starts back tomorrow I can’t wait, they have been out of school since Friday at 2pm, and I wish they were going for 5 days but they only go 2 then they are out for the weekend. O well at least I get the two days; they could have been out all week.

Landon has a cold and I am not sure if I am suppose to be putting the drops in his ears or not, the doctor said we needed to if he got a cold and his ears started draining, I have not noticed his ears draining but will it be a lot? Enough to where I would notice no matter what. Or will it be a little bit and I might not be seeing it. I am going to call in the morning to be sure on what to do. I do not want the tubes messed up.

This weekend is going to be a busy one, we are lying new carpet in the living room, then we have two birthday parties to go to on Saturday, then my niece Chloe will be one on Sunday and we are having her party at my house on Sunday, April is moving this weekend or early next week, Her and her friend Abby bought a house together and closed today, they bought the paint for Katlyn and Chloe’s room today and are painting before they move in, Katlyn is talk about her new house and is excited to get in it.
